Mini pulled the sheets off its 2014 John Cooper Works Paceman today at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, which is the high-performance version of the Paceman that was unveiled at the 2012 LA Auto Show a few months back.
The makes the seventh model in the John Cooper Works lineup, and this high-performance version gets its 208hp and 207 lb-ft of torque from a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder motor. It is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, and has a 0-62mph time of 6.5 seconds.
A new aerodynamic kit, 18-inch alloy wheels, badged door sills and a sports exhaust have been added for this update along with a few sporty interior touches.
The model comes with a base price of $36,200.
