2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible makes official online debut

After a short leak last week, details and images of the 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible have officially made their online debut. The model will make its public auto show debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show later this month.

“Following the recent successful introduction of the GT Speed, the new GT Speed Convertible will appeal to drivers who seek the sensory thrills of the world’s fastest four-seat soft-top and the practicality of a year-round grand tourer, together with unrivalled levels of luxury and refinement,” said Bentley Chairman and Chief Executive Dr Wolfgang Schreiber. “It is designed for those who accept no compromise.”

Power for the 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible comes from a 6.0 liter twin-turbo W12 making 616-hp at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 590 lb-ft at 2,000 rpm. Mated to a ZF 8-spoeed automatic with Quickshift, the new Continental GT Speed Convertible runs from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph.
