Last may, GM’s former global marketing boss Joel Ewanick said that the Detroit automaker will not be advertising during the Super Bowl in 2013 due to rising costs that he called unjustifiable. However, you will see a little bit of GM during the big game.

According to a report by TheDetroitBureau.com, GM will be handing a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette to this year’s celebrity performer – Beyonce. During the half-time show, GM will roll out a 2014 ‘Vette and deliver the keys of the car to Beyonce on the 50-yard line.
While GM officials aren’t confirming any involvement in the game, Chevy spokesman Mike Albano said that, “We’ve got a history of being involved with the Super Bowl.”
