At the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, Chrysler will unveil the 2013 300 Motown Edition – inspired by the “heart, soul and the passion” of Detroit with a new 60-second commercial titled ‘Who We Are.’
The commercial features the new 2013 Chrysler 300 Motown Edition and features legendary Motown founder and Detroit native Berry Gordy.
“Berry Gordy is a true inspiration and has paved the way to signify the sound and the drive that reflects the spirit of Detroit and the people who live in it,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, Chrysler Group LLC. “It is a privilege to have such a legendary icon partner with the Chrysler brand and the 300 Motown Edition.”
Besides all the visual touches, the Chrysler 300 Motown Edition comes with 100 tracks from original Motown recording artists loaded on the Uconnect 8.4’s SD card reader. Power comes from a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 making 292-hp mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission.
Prices will start at $32,995 with sales to begin in spring 2013.
