Report: Toyota RAV4 Hybrid in the works
The new 2014 Toyota RAV4 made its debut last week at the 2012 LA Auto Show and now the company is saying that a possible hybrid variant is also in the works.

According to the RAV4’s Deputy Chief Engineer Yoshikazu Saeki, the new 2014 RAV4 has been developed around three pillars including “an active exterior design, high interior quality and dynamic handling.”
In an interview with AutoExpress, Saeki said: “We are watching the market. After introducing the new RAV4 we will see. There will be a possibility of introducing a hybrid RAV4 and we will respond to what the market wants.”
The all-electric Toyota RAV4 EV is currently available for purchase in California.
