The Subaru BRZ went on sale in the United States in April with an allocation of about 500 units a month – but demand has far surpassed the company’s expectations.

“We are selling all the BRZs we can get,” said COO Tom Doll. “We have been sold out since the car was introduced.”

Initially, Subaru of America requested 6,000 units annually and has sold 3,120 through October.
