Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Bernar Venet – here’s another special edition Veyron

Bugatti can’t seem to stop creating special-edition or one-off versions of its Veyron supercar. The latest is this – the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Bernar Venet. Named after renowned French sculptor Bernar Venet, this special-edition 1,200-hp Grand Sport pays a tribute to the science behind the Veyron.

The design incorporates a film with a mathematical formula calculating the power of the engine on the car itself.

“A Bugatti is already a work of art in itself, one that transports both its beholder and its driver into new dimensions of reality,” said Bernar Venet. “I realized how I could translate my passion for mathematical equations and scientific treatises into three-dimensional form.┬áMy works are usually self-referential. So I found the idea of translating the equations of the Bugatti engineers onto the bodywork of the car very appealing.”

The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Bernar Venet will be on display at the Rubell Family Collection in Miami during the Art Basel Miami Beach (Dec. 6-9).
