At the 2012 LA Auto Show, Honda announced the pricing details for the new 2014 Accord Plug-in Hybrid, which will be going on sale starting Jan. 15 in California and New York. Prices will start at $39,780.
The 2014 Honda Accord Plug-in Hybrid gets the highest EPA MPGe rating in its class of 115 MPGe – surpassing the Ford C-MAX Energi’s 100 MPGe, the Volt’s 98 MPGe and the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid’s 95 MPGe.
On a full charge, the 2014 Honda Accord Plug-in Hybrid has an all-electric EV range of 13 miles and a fuel-economy rating of 47/46/46 mpg (city/hwy/combined).
Honda also confirmed that the Accord Hybrid will be hitting markets next summer and will have an estimated fuel-economy of 49/45/47 mpg (city/hwy/combined). More details on the Honda Accord Hybrid will be announced closer to launch.
