2012 LA: 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander makes world debut
Mitsubishi’s new 2014 Outlander SUV made its public debut today at the 2012 LA Auto Show with a brand new exterior and interior design.
“With its sleek new interior/exterior design direction, high-quality cabin materials, and reduced fuel consumption, the all-new 2014 Outlander is an affordably-priced crossover that is an ideal vehicle for the cost-conscience automotive consumer,” Mitsubishi said in a statement.
The 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander is powered by either a 166-hp 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine (mated to a CVT) or a 24-valve 224-hp 3.0 liter V6 engine (mated to a 6-speed automatic).
The Mitsubishi Outlander will also be offered as a plug-in hybrid starting early 2014.
