While GM released many details on the 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV, it is keeping hush about the estimated range of the compact electric-car on a full charge – however, the Detroit automaker says that the Spark EV is expected to provide the best range in the segment.
Power in the Chevy Spark EV comes from a GM-designed, coaxial drive unit and electric motor that produces 130-hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. Performance wise 0 to 60 mph is expected to come in under 8 seconds, which isn’t bad for an EV.
Prices will start under $25,000.
