Report: Seat Axon electric speedster concept envisioned by designer
Not long after its full acquisition of Seat back in 1990, the VW Group has tossed around the idea of making the Spanish automotive brand a sporty one. So far, with the exception of the Cupra variants, this has yet to be seen.
Concepts have surfaced over the years reflecting the company’s interest in moving in this direction, including the 1999 Formula roadster, the 2001 Targa roadster and the 2003 Cupra GT Coupe, but all have remained just so.
Still, Seat continues to entertain the notion with another concept dubbed the Axon. Designed by Alvaro Molero Simarro, the Axon is a two-seater speeder that aims to be electrically powered.
