Video: Nissan Altima V8 supercar hits up the track for testing

Shortly after unveiling its Nissan Altima V8 Supercar, Nissan took the car to the track for testing in Melbourne.

“While the V8 Supercars Series races in Abu Dhabi, the Kelly Racing-run Altima was turning laps at Calder in Melbourne as part of the first phase of aerodynamic testing,” Nissan said in a statement. “Despite being sidelined after a recent shoulder reconstruction – team owner and driver Todd Kelly was given the first honors of taking the wheel of the car.”

Nissan said further testing will be carried out by the team in the coming month.

Further testing of the Nissan will be carried out by the team and V8 Supercars in the coming months.
