Starting next year, many elite supercar maker will launch some extreme supercars. McLaren will have its successor to the F1 known as the P1 and Ferrari will have its successor to the Enzo.
Hoping to not be overlooked, Bugatti is apparently looking to create a very crazy version of the Veyron.
According to Automobile Magazine, Bugatti will launch an extreme version of the Veyron at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. It will essentially be a Veyron Super Sport on steroids pushing some 1,600-hp. That could allow the car to hit 0 to 62 mph in 1.8 seconds and hit a top speed of an eye-wattering 288 mph.
That’s just extreme.
All that will be made possible by the crazy work done by Bugatti engineers and a weight reduction on the Super Sport of 550 lbs.
Prices should start north of $2.5 million.
