Ford has announced a gang of Mustangs, F-Series models and another Escape that it will be brining to the approaching Sema show to join the Focus ST’s and Fusions.
Four Mustang concepts have been built, each by different tuning houses, with three of which are 2013 GT 5.0-liter V8’s and one 2013 Convertible 3.7-liter V6.
The first of the three 5.0’s is Ringborther’s concept that features suspension upgrades, Baer brakes, a carbon-fiber body kit, a supercharger, larger wheels and tires and a coat of custom waterborne paint. Stitchcraft brings the second with a FlowMaster exhaust, Hotchkis coil-over suspension, nitrous injection, a beefy set of breaks, 3dCarbon body kit, custom interior and custom exterior paint. Third in line is Mothers, Autosport Dynamics and RTR’s combined effort. Kicking the output up to 650hp and adding a track ready suspension with bigger wheels and tires was Mother’s portion, while RTR offered up the carbon-fiber body kit on the outside and custom Sparco seats and upholstery on the inside.
As for the 3.7-liter V6, this is the only model mated to a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. It was built by DSO, who boosted the power up to 750 horses with a twin-screw Whipple supercharger, and adds in an Eibach suspension, Brembo brakes, big wheels and tires, a 3dCarbon body kit and plenty of interior mods including a Rockford audio system.
A pair of F150’s join the crowd as well, the first of which is the FX2 Sport Super Cab 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 built by Truckin’ Magazine. To offer something a bit more track-ready the team gave it a high-performance break package, swapped out the wheels and tires and added a custom stripe kit. Some luxurious touches were added to the interior, as well.
The second F150 is an FX2 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 Sport Super Cab crafted by K-Daddyz Kustomz. It’s exterior is coated in bright red monochromatic paint, and it gets a set of 24-inch wheels and tires, a fully detailed undercarriage, a supercharger and for the inside a Rockford Fosgate audio system.
In addition to all these models, Ford is also bringing a 2012 F-250XLT Crew Cab 6.7-liter PowerStroke V8 Turbo Diesel finessed by Kelderman Air Suspension systems, and a Ford Escape SE FWD 2.0-liter EcoBoost by Vaccar and one by Heide Performance Prodcuts.
