Check out more news on the Lamborghini Gallardo.

The next-generation Lamborghini Gallardo is expected to get a new name and is also expected to get some of the lightweight carbon fiber technology found in the Sesto Elemento Concept.

Power wil come from a naturally aspirated engine without any hybrid technology and it seems that a manual transmission will no longer be an option. Knight also said that there may be some room for a rear-wheel-drive version, but that’s still under consideration.

At the 2012 Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini showed a slightly updated version of 2013 Gallardo LP 560-4.

Sadly the tradition of bullifighting, like smoking, is becoming less acceptable in an increasingly tolerant benign world. Ironic that.
So, Lambo’s tradition of using bullfighting theme may not be welcome to some.
But to me the two fingered response from them to these damp squibs would be the perfect remedy, very much in line with the spirit that created Automobili Lamborghini S.P.A. to begin with. (to those of you who don’t have a clue of what is being said, do a wiki or a google).
