ARK Performance Hyundai Veloster Alpine Concept teased before 2012 SEMA show

Hyundai has released a teaser for yet another Hyundai Veloster for the 2012 SEMA show. This time, the tuning package comes from ARK Performance and features a “finely tailored interior using materials, colors and design themes fitting an extreme winter sports lifestyle.”

Known as the Ark Performance Hyundai Veloster Alpine Concept, the model also features a blend of Alcantara, fine Italian leather and WeatherTek breathable fabric.

“Our Veloster Alpine concept reflects the diverse lifestyle versatility we envisioned in the original Veloster concept,” said Ted Lee, owner of ARK performance, Inc. “This extreme sports coupe concept will appeal to winter sports enthusiasts who love to carve the snow as much as a twisty canyon road.”

Power for the 1.6 liter engine has been tuned with a new ARK Performance DTS exhaust system, K&N intake System, Nitrous Express Proton Kit, ARK Oil Cooler, and BTRcc custom engine bay parts. The engine now produces 232-hp and a maximum torque of 240 lb-ft.
