Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition starts at $80,500

Porsche announced today that it is offering some exclusivity and is adding an elegant touch to the Panamera. Known as the Platinum Edition, the special-edition version is available Panamera and all-wheel-drive Panamera 4 configurations.

The Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition features platinum silver metallic touches on the side-view mirrors, on the specially designed grill, trimming on the trunk lid and the rear diffuser. Special exterior colors include black or white as well as the optional basalt black metallic, carbon grey metallic and mahogany metallic lacquer finishes. Other touches on the Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition include Bi-Xenon lights with Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS) main headlights and parking assist front and rear. The package also adds 19-inch Panamera Turbo alloy wheels.

On the inside the Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition features black/luxor beige two-tone combination. Other additions include the standard sport design steering wheel, the Porsche crest on the front and rear headrests as well as the insignia “Platinum Edition” on the front door trim strips. You also get the Bose sounds system and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with navigation

Base prices on the Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition start at $80,500. The Panamera 4 Platinum Edition will have a base price of $84,600. The two new Panamera models will be available in the U.S. starting January 5, 2013.
