ABT Sportsline releases details on new 2013 Audi A3 tuning package

ABT Sportsline has been developing performance and styling kits for the 2013 Audi A3 hatchback, and is now releasing some more details just ahead of its completion.

Exterior trim mods will include a modified version of Audi’s classic grille, front fender air-vent trim, a front apron with lip spoiler, side skirts, a modified roof spoiler a rear apron with a diffuser.

Several sets of lightweight alloy wheels are available as well, sized at either 18- or 19-inches.

Performance enhancements start with an array of sports exhaust systems and suspension kits, as well as four separate packages for different motors. As for petrol motors, the 1.4-liter TFSI goes form 138hp to 168hp and Audi’s upcoming 2.0-liter TSI gets lifted form 217hp to 276hp. Diesel variants include the 2.0-liter TDI diesel, which gets 178hp from its stock 148hp motor, and ABT squeezes 207hp out of the 181hp variant.

Nice exterior details and some decent power tunes make this an overall win for ABT so far. Let’s see what happens when everything comes together with pricing.
