While the new Nissan TeRRA SUV Concept that will debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show later this month may never hit Nissan dealers, the study does give us a hint as to what Nissan global design chief Shiro Nakamura’s has in mind for next-generation Murano crossover.
“We’d like to make another shock,” Nakamura said. “When we did the first Murano, we shocked people,” Nakamura says, referring to the wagonlike mid-sized crossover that debuted in 2002.
The new Nissan Murano is due to hit roads in 2014.
“The new Murano will be very different,” he said in an interview with Automotive news. “The third generation must be very strong.”
Speaking on the next Nissan Maxima, Nakamura said that the next-geneartion of the sedan will be very aggressive.
