Alfa Romeo will be introducing a new variation of the MiTo compact hatchback at this year’s Paris Motor Show. Called the MiTo SBK, it was designed to celebrate Alfa’s involvement in the Superbike World Championship.
Said to be based off of the MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde, which is a sporty 170hp version of the hatchback, the SBK will be powered by the same 1.4L MultiAir four-banger. Alfa reportedly said that the MiTo SBK will hit sixty in a little over seven seconds.
No word on pricing yet for you European lot, but production will be capped at just 200 units.
Those who aren’t able to get the SBK special edition will be able to choose the MiTo SBK Special Series package, which will sport a revised sport rear bumper, a chrome-plated spoiler, standard 16-inch alloy rollers, SBK badging and titanium mirror housings.
The package will be optional on all MiTos except for ones that don the 1.4L MultiAir engine.
