Mazda has dropped the first details and images (well, only two) of the new 2013 Mazda CX-9 crossover. The crossover won’t be debuting at the 2012 Paris Motor Show but will instead make its world premiere at the 2012 Australian International Motor Show.
The current CX-9 has sold over 210,000 units in 74 countries – now the next-generation model gets Mazda’s new ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’ design theme at the front and rear, interior enhancement with better design and quality, and a new infotainment system features the latest audio, navigation and speech-recognition systems based on the Human Machine Interface (HMI) which is intuitive to use. New safety technology includes Forward Obstruction Warning System, Lane Departure Warning System, and High Beam Control System.
The 2013 Mazda CX-9 continues to be powered by a 3.7 liter V6 and will be mated to a 6-speed automatic. No SKYACTIV for this baby.
