GM stops sales of popular 2013 vehicles due to OnStar glitch

GM is stopping the sales of several popular 2013 vehicles due to a software glitch that affects the company’s OnStart connectivity system.

Spokesman Alan Adler said that GM is working on fixing the ins sue on some 60,000 units on dealer lots and that the issue should be wrapped up in a couple of days.

Vehicles affected by the problem include the 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, Equinox and Volt, the Cadillac XTS, SRX and ATS, the Buick Verano and the GMC Terrain.

The glitch stop OnStar’s crash notification system from sending an alert to the OnStar call center in accidents that do not trigger an airbag deployment.
