At the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance BMW showed of the drop-top version of its latest creation with Zagato known as the BMW Zagato Roadster. The model was built in just six weeks before the event in Monterey, California. BMW has now released a video of BMW head of design Karim Habib and Zagato chief designer Norihiko Harada talking about their latest creation.

Like the coupe, the BMW Zagato Roadster is based on the Z4 sDrive35iS and is powered by a 3.0 liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine making close to 400-hp.
