Over the weekend at the 2012 Pebble Beach in Monterey, California, Bugatti showed up with a special-edition Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse colored in a Bianco and New Light Blue scheme.
Right after Bugatti unveiled the car at the ‘Qual: A Motorsport Gather’ (a place where all supercars hang out) someone with a lot of money cashed out a whopping $2.5 million for the one-off Veyron.
Oh, the things money can buy.
Refresher: Power for the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse jumps from from 1,001-hp to 1,200-hp and torque jumps to 1,106 lb-ft. The increase power comes thanks to four enlarged turbochargers and intercoolers added to the 16-cylinder engine. 0 to 60 mph takes about 2.6 seconds with a top speed of 254 mph.
