ROUSH Performance introduces 2013 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang Premier Edition
ROUSH Performance and Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes came together to produce a special premiere edition ROUSH Mustang. Called the 2013 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang Premier Edition, the unique Mustang incorporates ROUSH’s Stage 3 kit, which means a ROUSH R6 Aerobody Kit and a Stage 3 boost setup for the 5.0L heart.
The body kit gives the already aggressive-looking Mustang even more of a beastly look, complete with a new front-end, driving lamps, a front fascia splitter, side skirts, and a rear diffuser built into the lower valence. 20-inch wheels are included in either hyper black or chrome finish.
The Stage 3 kit gives the 5.0L V8 an in-house R2300 TVS Supercharger that gives this ‘Stang 565hp of crank-induced goodness along with a nice lofty 505 lb-ft of twist. Should the more power hungry individual demand more than that, ROUSH Performance also offers an additional upgrade that ups the power to 625hp and 525 lb-ft of torque. And to shed all of that speed off very quickly are a set of four-piston calipers with 14-inch rotors. Customers can also order a six-piston brake upgrade and other customizable options as well.

The 2013 ROUSH® Stage 3 Mustang Premier Edition is a collaborative creation by ROUSH Performance and Sherwin-Williams® Automotive Finishes. The two companies have a long standing partnership, both on and off the race track. Offering a premium paint vehicle was a natural extension for this strong relationship. The vehicle also features a wealth of other premium features, including painted stripes, Premier Edition side badges, vehicle-matching interior elements, as well as the horsepower and suspension enhancements that you would expect from a Stage 3 ROUSH Mustang. Limited to a production run of up to 25 the 2013 ROUSH RS3 Mustang Premier Edition is now available.
The distinct paint colors from Sherwin Williams Automotive Finishes makes this car stand out in any crowd. The 2013 model offers 12 vibrant main body colors including five new unique paint colors and seven popular colors shared with the 2012 model. New colors for 2013 include Iridescence, Punch it Purple, Cabernet, V8 Red, and Launch it Lemon. The primary and secondary graphic colors are offered in all 12 main body colors as well as six additional colors including Gloss Black, Matte Black Jack, Motor City Iron, Sin City Silver, Red-Blooded American, and Light Gold.
The 2013 Ford Mustang GT look is transformed by the new ROUSH R6 Aerobody Kit. The Mustang has unique front end styling with high flow front grille and the ultra high flow lower front grille opening, also including the driving lamps with pockets and the new front fascia chin splitters. Adding the rocker panel side splitters, rear fascia side splitters along with the race-inspired, rear diffuser design, rear aero valance transform the Mustang’s exterior into a ROUSH.
The 2013 Stage 3 Mustang Premier Edition shares the Stage 3 horsepower increase on the 5.0L V8 engine with the ROUSH R2300 TVS Supercharger taking the power to 565 and 505 ft-lb of torque. Producing all that extra power can make you stress about your Mustang warranty which is no worry due to ROUSH providing a powertrain warranty with a 3 year / 36,000 mile drivetrain warranty. The Premier Edition is also available with an optional post-title upgrade to 625 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque, however the powertrain 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty becomes a ROUSH parts only warranty.
The ROUSH suspension and wheel package give any Mustang a great stance. The 20-inch wheels come in either chrome or hyper black. To stop this car ROUSH provides the 4-piston brakes with Red or Black painted calipers and 14-inch rotors but also offers an optional 6-piston brake upgrade for those looking for even more stopping power as done on the track. Along with the brake upgrades, other options include convertible light bar, trunk mounted tool kit, and quarter window louvers.
ROUSH can provide a custom color design consultation for the 2013 model year. The consultation is an in person (at ROUSH Performance Speed Shop in Plymouth, Michigan) design consultation with ROUSH design team prior to build (Hotel and Airfare Not Included).
