When the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento made its world debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, every auto enthusiasts dream came true. Aggressively shaped with a 5.7 liter V10 from the Gallardo, the Sesto Elemento was known as Lamborghini’s achievement into dropping vehicle weight with the extensive use of carbon fiber.
Things got even better when Lamborghini announced that it will be producing just 20 units of the Sesto Elemento. Weighing in at just 2,202 pounds, the model goes from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds.
It was recently reported that all 20 units have been sold out. Wondering how much each one sold for? $2.2 million. That’s right Lamborghini confirmed the staggering price tag today at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
I’m just wondering what else can you buy with $2.2 million dollars. Especially, since the Sesto Elemento is meant for track-use only.
