Video: Aston Martin’s CEO revs the new 2013 Vanquish, 3 customers drop deposits

The video you’re about to see shows Aston Martin CEO, Dr. Ulrich Bez, starting up and demonstrating the exhaust tones of 2013 Vanquish. It’s probably the most beautiful sound we’ve heard all summer.

The event is taking place at Monetery, CA for some customers right before the car heads-off to be displayed at Pebble Beach. Word on the street is that after revving the hell out of the new Vanquish, three people immediately drop deposits to purchase the car.

Refresher: Power for the Aston Martin AM 310 Vanquish comes from a 6.0 liter V12 engine 565-hp at 6,750 rpm with a maximum torque of 457 lb-ft at 5,500 rpm. Mated to a rear-mid mounted, 6-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic/sequential manual gearbox, 0 to 62 mph comes in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 183 mph.
