Video: Drive’s TUNED takes us for a ride in the 700-hp Hennessey Camaro ZL1
The new 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is already a pretty quick car pumping out 580-hp and 556 lb-ft of torque. But what happens when you hand Hennessey Performance Engineering? They manage to squeeze out a massive 1,021-hp with their HPE1000 Twin Turbo upgrade.

DRIVE’s Matt Farah recently made his way to Sealy, TX to test one of Hennessey’s take on the already potent Camaro ZL1. The version Matt drives in the video is the Hennessey HPE700 Performance Camaro ZL1, which produces 707-hp at 6,300 rpm.
