Report: Hyundai’s RWD BMW 3-Series rival coming next year
Hyundai and Kia don’t seem to be backing off on offering their customers more for their money. According to a new report the two brands, which have even moved slightly into higher-price segments, plan to keep going with a new range of models over the new three years.

Kia will be first out the door with the Cadenza front-wheel-drive flagship sedan next summer. The model, which is already on sale in the Koren market as the K9, will be know as the Quoris in overseas markets.
Hyundai is working on a rear-wheel-drive sports sedan that will compete with the BMW 3-Series. The model will be badged as a Genesis vehicle and will be based on the rwd platform used for the Genesis Coupe. The rear-wheel-drive sedan isn’t expected to hit markets until 2015.
Hyundai is also working on a re-engineering and a redesigned Genesis Sedan that will hit U.S. dealers late next year. That will be followed by an update to the Hyundai Equus for the 2014 model year.
