    The third
generation of Jeep Grand Cherokee offers improved engine capacity, perfect road
    performance and well-appointed passenger saloon.

    Dynamic and
aggressive design of Grand Cherokee is emphasized with gitter and round halogen
headlights. The car increased in length and width, the rear lights became
larger, its windscreen is more flat, and aerodynamic qualities were improved. In
short, the third generation Grand Cherokee’s appearance hasn’t undergone any
radical changes, but still it’s impossible to mistake this vehicle with the
    previous generation.

The interior of Grand Cherokee was appreciably changed, now its design is
steeped in European tradition. The salon is very ergonomic, spacious and cozy.
Two-tone seats are in tune with the dashboard of the same colour. The dark top
of the dashboard is not only aesthetic but also practical, as it casts a less
glare in bright sunlight. Bolsters became more elastic. Only high-quality
materials were used in the design of interior. The car is equipped with Boston
Acoustics audio system with 6 speakers, there is also a DVD-system for the rear
passengers at buyer’s option. The independent front suspension provides the
driver with full control of the steering and reduces the weight of the car. In
the back there is 5-lever suspension with stabilizer bar.

    For the
first time the electronic stability program ESP was included in the standard
package of Jeep Grand Cherokee. It helps the driver to manage difficult road
conditions and reduces the risk of skidding. All these upgrades, as well as
increased axle spacing, enhanced the handling of Jeep Grand Cherokee to the
    next level.

Two new AWD systems were developed for the Grand Cherokee. The system
Quadra-Trac II employed a two-speed chain-driven transfer case, therefore it
allows the driver to feel confident on the road, as it can determine and
correct the tire slip very fast due to the input of sensors. And the system
Quadra-Drive II consists of full-time transfer case and ELSD (electronic
limited slip differentials) that distribute engine torque to the tires with
transaction when tire slip is detected. That’s why Grand Cherokee
    provides amazing off-road capability.
