Report: Lexus working on small CT 200h based on Prius C
The 2012 Lexus CT 200h hasn’t done so well from the brand in the United States – but it seems like Lexus thinks that the world is now ready for a smaller version.

Word on the street is that Lexus is working on a competitor to the Mini Cooper and the Audi A1. Known internally as the Lexus AS150, the model will be built on the same platform as the Prius C and will be a compact hybrid.

Powertrain options being considered are a 1.5 liter Hybrid Synergy Drive System in the Prius C and a 1.2 liter direct injection turbo engine for ‘Lexus AS150t F Sport’ models.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see what’s to come next.
