All 2013 Buick models to get IntelliLink infotainment system as standard feature

Buick announced today that it will make IntelliLink in-car connectivity standard on all 2013 model year vehicles in its lineup including the new 2013 Enclave and the Encore.

The IntelliLink system, which originally made its debut on the 2012 Buick Verano sedan, is an infotainment system that pairs your smartphone and uses app interface to let you control apps through the voice-activitaed control or the main center dash screen.

“As smartphones that stream and hold music grow ever more popular, we want to ensure Buick customers have connectivity that’s both intuitive and safe to use,” said IntelliLink lead engineer Tony Kraatz. “These updates make it easier to access the songs they love.”

You can also control your iPod, Bluetooth connectivity to your cell phone, get access to SiriusXM satellite radio, access SiriusXM TravelLink, check the weather, movie theater show times and gas prices.

2013 Buick models will begin arriving at dealerships later this year.
