Chevrolet unleashed the first images of is 2013 Nascar Nationwide Series entry Camaro model, taking the place of the Impala in this race, with an upcoming SS sedan to be entered in the Nascar Sprint Cup in place of the Impala, as well.

This model will be put up against models like the Challenger and the Mustang. It was designed in similar fashion to the production Camaro, with it’s strongest resemblance in the front end.

The series-spec Camaro will hit the raceway next year for a Nascar event at Daytona International Speedway.
