The 2013 Audi RS5 has finally made it to U.S. shores and the price tag for the German brand’s most-anticipated coupe will start at a whopping $68,900 (not including $895 for destination).

Power for the Audi RS5 comes from a 4.2 liter V8 making 450-hp at 8,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 317 lb-ft between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. Mated to a dual-clutch transmission and quattro all-wheel-drive, the 2013 Audi RS5 sprints from 0 to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 174 mph.

Let’s get back to that price tag. We’re almost at $70,000 out the door – meaning Audi RS5′s competitors come in quite a bit cheaper. The BMW M3 Coupe and the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe start around $60,000.

define value…. the fact that i can make it past other motorists including M5s on a snowy mountain road while never getting out of my car to put on snow chains is value enough for me, and i know from experience. quattro :)
