Following a move where the Volkswagen Group’s family of SUVs, the Porsche Cayenne and the Volkswagen Touareg, received an updated V6 diesel, word is that the 2013 Audi Q7 will be receiving the same updated engine.
That engine is a 240hp 3.0L turbodiesel V6 that’s more powerful than the outgoing version by 15hp, while producing 406 lb-ft of torque. It also weighs about 55 lbs less, allowing for a jump in fuel economy by two city mpg and three highway, bringing them up to 19/28 city/highway.
The 2013 Audi Q7 TDI is currently on sale while the price jumped $600.
