Aston Martin CEO Ulrich Bez says that he is open to the idea of using smaller displacement engines only if it doesn’t pull away from the exclusivity of the supercar brand’s lineup.
Over the past 6 years, Aston Martin has reduced the emissions of its V8 and V12 engines by 25 percent but Bez says that there is still some more work to do.
“The job is not complete,” Bez said. “Four or even three cylinders are possible. If the spirit of the times demands six cylinders, then it has to be looked at.”
