Aspid unveils their wicked looking GT-21 Invictus

Aspid is a small Spanish company that produces unique open-wheel sports cars. And recently, they just unveiled their latest project, which looks like something out of the most recent Batman film.

Called the GT-21 Invictus, this small two-door sports car is powered by a BMW-sourced 4.4L V8, which is mated to either a seven-speed dual-clutch or six-speed manual cog swapper. That means this puppy can sprint to 60 in under three seconds for a top run of 189 mph.

But that’s not all. Should you feel like detaching your face with some g-forces, the GT-21 Invictus can manage up to 1.6g on the skidpad. Who needs Botox when you have the GT-21 Invictus?

Aiding in this epic speed is a goal to keep the weight pegged at 2,182lbs thanks to composite body panels and space frame chassis. Not to mention, the GT-21 Invictus is also road worthy because it comes with adaptive airbags, stability control, and ABS. Inside, there’s enough room to haul yourself plus three other people.

Aspid hasn’t announced how much the GT-21 Invictus will cost, but they did say that they will begin producing examples beginning in 2014.
