Land Rover has recently released a special edition Defender with new interior and exterior embellishments.

The Land Rover Defender XTech Special Edition gets a tougher feel with its new Orkney Grey or Nara Bronze paint colors and contrasting Santorini Black roof. Land Rover also adds black wheel arches, black chequer plate to sills and bumpers, LED lights, a body colored grille and a set of 16-inch alloy wheels in Gloss Black Saw Tooth wrapped in MTR off-road tires.

For the interior, Land Rover embossed its logo on the headrests and the Defender logo on the carpet mats. Body paint color has been added to accent the central switch panel, and the model gets loaded up with standard equipment.

The Defender XTech is available in both 90 Hard Top and 110 Utility Wagon, with plenty of options available on each.

Power for the model comes from the standard version’s 2.2-liter diesel motor mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

Unfortunately the U.S. will not be getting this toughened-up Defender, which sells in Europe for about $34,252 USD.
