According to a new video by Bridge to Gantry and some insiders at the Nurburgring, Bugatti has been hanging around the famous German track with a bunch of its Veyron special-editions.

Rumors say that Bugatti has been at the track wit ha racing driver in an attempt to bring in a record lap time for the new Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, the fastest production Veyron to date.
Refresher: The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport makes a total of 1,200-hp (up from 1,001-hp) with a maximum torque of 1,106 lb-ft. Top speed for the production models will be electronically limited to 259 mph to protect the tires. The first five units will feature a special-series of their own with the same configuration as the landspeed record car.
