So the new 2013 Porsche Boxster came out earlier this year, though at its debut, the Zuffenhausen brand remained fairly quiet about the Boxster’s sibling, the Cayman. That said, ever since the Boxster’s debut, the Cayman’s details were more or less left to be determined…until now.

Reports from Automotive News have found that Porsche is apparently preparing to unveil its latest Cayman at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

As for what we can expect, well, the Cayman should follow in the Boxster’s path where a reduction in weight was one of the biggest changes. Additionally, the Cayman, much like the Boxster, will also focus on becoming more fuel efficient without sacrificing the Porsche Cayman’s gung-ho abilities.

Engines, in usual fashion, should carry over from the Boxster, which means two boxer-six engines producing either 265hp or 315hp.
