Audi recently unveiled its new pricing list for the new 2013 Audi A8 line. Additionally, for the first time for a very long time, Audi’s flagship receives the brand’s new standard base 3.0L supercharged V6 for just $73,095. Compared to the 4.2L V8 powered Audi A8, which now sits above the V6 version in the lineup, the new base A8 costs $6,350 cheaper than its V8 sibling.
Mated to a ZF eight-speed auto and Audi’s traditional Quattro all-wheel transaxles, the new 2013 Audi A8 3.0T V6 churns out 333hp and 325 lb-ft of torque, while the 4.2L V8 A8 still produces 372hp and 328 lb-ft of twist.
While available in short wheelbase, the Audi A8 3.0T will also be available in long wheelbase form, which runs at a higher $79,395.
