Hyundai supposedly revealed the starting price of the new 2013 Veloster Turbo on Twitter at one point early today. In the tweet, they said, “it’s just $1600 more than a comparably equipped non-Turbo [model].” Considering that the MSRP of the base Hyundai Veloster is just $17,300, adding $1,600 to that makes the 2013 Veloster Turbo’s MSRP at just $18,900, or $19,675 with destination charges.
Despite this announcement, some journalists think that the brand is undercutting the official price, which should be announced through a press release. The reason being is that the Veloster Turbo comes very well-equipped with leather seats, alloys, and a standard upgraded body kit.
Additionally, we’ll know the final starting price when Hyundai releases the 2013 Veloster Turbo’s full details later this year.
