German tuning house Vath rolled a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series Edition into its garage and came out with the ‘V63 Supercharged’, its own take on the model.
Vath tuned up the 510hp model with an ECU reprogram, custom exhaust, and a water-charging air-cooling system to produce a total output of 746-hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The sizable increase in power cuts down the 0-62 mph time from 4.2 seconds to 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 218 mph.
A suspension tune is also available that includes 20-65 mm lowering and hardness, an upgraded breaking system that comes with 405 mm discs, and adjustable shock absorbers.
The stock wheels have been swapped out for a set of 20-inch alloys surrounded by 255/30-20 sized tires up front and 295/25-20 at the rear.
In addition, Vath provides the option of a sport steering wheel in leather, carbon or wood trim, a 250mph speedometer and a blacked out grille that leaves off the Mercedes-Benz logo.
Pricing for the engine tune alone comes in at $47,900 and goes up from there with extras.
