Report: Fisker expands Karma plug-in hybrid recall

Fisker Automotive has announced that it will be expanding its recall of its 2012 plug-in hybrid Karma sedan due to potential problems with the electric-sedan’s lithium-ion battery.

Originally, Fisker had recalled 50 units in December, but is now adding 19 cars to that recall. The company believes that 10 of them were delivered to customers. It said that there have been no reports or incidents from customers and retailers.

The recall covers an improperly installed hose clamps in the model’s battery pack.
