Report: Volkswagen planning another crossover for the U.S. market
Volkswagen of America is thinking of adding another crossover to its lineup in hopes to boost sales targets in the United States and other markets. The crossover, which will have SUV-styling, is being discussed by the higher ups at Volkswagen.
“It’s a part of our vision for the future,” said Volkswagen Group of America CEO Jonathan Browning. He said that there is a “a great opportunity for a midsize SUV.”
No details or timing of launch was specified. However, Browning did say that it will fit below the Tiguan in the lineup.
