When you’re as popular as Jay Leno, you don’t get invited to press events – press events come to you.

Ford recently joined Leno in his garage with the new 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 to let the late night talk show host take it for spin.

Refresher: Power for the 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 comes from a 5.8 liter supercharged V8 making an outstanding 662 horsepower and 631 lb.-ft. of torque. It weighs in at just 3,850. Prices start at $54,200 for the coupe and $59,200 for the convertible.
