Jaguar displays one-of-a-kind C-X16 Concept in clay form at Clerkenwell Design Week
Jaguar of UK recently displayed the one-off C-X16 Concept at the Clerkenwell Design Week. The car, which will enter production as the Jaguar F-Type, was shown in clay model form to show the artistry involved in sculpting the cars of the future.
“Jaguar is one of the most technologically advanced companies in the field of product development but we still believe in the sense of artistry,” said Julian Thomson, Advanced Design Director, Jaguar Cars. “Emotional connections are at the heart of our vehicles and the traditional process of working with clay with some of the best sculptors in the world allows us to refine them into the purest surfaces.”
The Jaguar F-Type is scheduled to go on sale early next year.
