Vorsteiner gives BMW 1-Series M Coupe a slight bump in power
As an owners of the BMW 135i, I have personal attachment to news about the compact sports car and its M version – known as the BMW 1-Series M Coupe. Tuner Vorsteiner has now released a new modification package for the new BMW 1-Series M Coupe known as the GTS-V.
The model, which debuted at the 2012 Bimmerfest in Pasadena, California, features a new body kit consisting of a new carbon fiber front lip, rear boot lid, rear wing and a new rear diffuser. Much of the visual modifications were kept to a minimum since the BMW 1 M is already a very aggressive looking car.
As for power upgrades, Vorsteiner engineers manage to pump out an extra 15-hp and 51 lb-ft of torque. Power for the BMW 1-Series M Coupe comes from a 3.0L inline 6-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine making 335-hp and a maximum torque of 332 lb-ft.
