Earlier today we brought you the first details and images of the Toyota GT 86 Race Car that will be running at the Nurburgring 24 Hour Race. Toyota’s in-house tuning and engineering firm GRMN (Gazoo Racing Masters of Nurburgring) have now revealed details of their version of the GT 86 race car that will also be exhibited for the first time at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring.

GRMN takes the standard version and upgrades the car with a 2.0 liter twin-charged engine (supercharger + turbocharger) to make 316-hp with a maximum torque of 310 lb-ft. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Known as the Sports FR Concept, the model also features upgraded brakes, 18-inch racing wheels, a wide body kit, roll-cage, a stripped interior with racing seats and 4-point harnesses.
The 40th annual Nurburgring 24 Hour endurance race will be held on May 17-20.
