Report: McLaren MP4-12C Spyder to drop its top later this year

We’ve been hearing about a potential convertible version of the McLaren MP4-12C since the car made its full debut last year.

Reports now suggest that the car is due to hit roads later this year. Known so far as the McLaren MP4-12C Spyder, the model will likely carry a hard-top (as suggested by a previous report).

Besides the drop-top, don’t expect the convertible MP4-12C to change much from its coupe sibling.
